Meet One Half Of Team Behind Help Me GMP Our Experts in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

Help Me GMP was founded by practising professionals with one goal — to make Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) clear, practical, and accessible to everyone. Behind the channel are two experts who work daily within licensed pharmaceutical manufacturing, combining technical experience with a passion for sharing knowledge.

Adam Walker | Co-Creator, Help Me GMP | Director, @PharmaQP Ltd

With extensive experience across NHS manufacturing, GMP consultancy, and pharmaceutical innovation, Adam combines frontline leadership with a focus on developing advanced medicines manufacturing capability within the NHS. He is Head of Development and Innovation at the NHS North East and North Cumbria Medicines Manufacturing Centre (NENC MMC) and a contract Qualified Person, supporting facilities across the UK in maintaining compliance with EU GMP.

Adam has led multiple facility and equipment design projects, including the design, qualification, and factory acceptance testing of complex aseptic processing systems such as vapour hydrogen peroxide (VHP) isolators. His expertise spans facility commissioning, validation, and the implementation of robust quality systems across both licensed and unlicensed aseptic environments.

He contributes nationally through the Aseptic Pathfinder Programme, helping to shape the future direction of NHS medicines manufacturing with a focus on automation, compliance, and sustainable innovation. He is also part of the team authoring the 6th edition of QAAPS, driving consistent GMP compliance across NHS manufacturing facilities.

Through Help Me GMP, which he co-runs with Kyle Winn, Adam shares his experience with professionals worldwide—translating complex GMP principles into practical, relatable guidance that supports operational excellence and regulatory confidence across the UK pharmaceutical sector.
